Meaningful Lyrics Are My Real Success: Anantha Sriram

The energetic song “Rai Rai Raa Raa” from Peddi is getting a fantastic response and clocking record breaking views online. With Ram Charan’s powerful dance moves the song has instantly become a chartbuster.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana choreographed by Jani Master and composed by A. R. Rahman while the lyrics are penned by Anantha Sriram. Rathnavelu adds rich visuals to the song.

Anantha Sriram shared that the team worked for six months on the lyrics to make them both massy and meaningful.

He said the hook line was inspired by RTC buses in villages where “Rai Rai” signals moving forward, symbolising progress and leadership.

He also revealed that Ram Charan hugged him after hearing the song. Sriram confirmed he has written three songs for the film and is working on other exciting projects as well with a great high.
